Friendly Neighbor Community Social Service center
"People of Chicago working together to create a greater environment"
Our Mission statement
The Friendly Neighbor Community Social Service Center. A not-for-profit organization in Chicago has been providing service to the under-serviced areas since 2002. Our goal is to provide education and training to empower clients with financial stability by providing, training and assisting with finding employment or training for a career, perhaps more education. We have help for re-entry adult assistance with resumes and finding work. Keep your eyes open for more reentry opportunities.
This is a place for local Chicago students, and community areas who are under-serviced and will get a chance to experience the city in a different way through many field trips throughout the year and help students grow scholastically and personally. Our loving staff and fellow student CITs (counselor in training program), we invite you to join us in making the future of tomorrow better. Our goal is to teach young Chicagoans about self-discipline and creativity that hasn't been introduced to them yet. As native Chicagoans we want everyone to be able to see Chicago's beauty. As well as get help with their education in an environment they feel comfortable in. We have friendly tutors, mentors, and counselors. We provide homework help, games, crafts, STEM programs, and snacks for our students.
We offer resume and cover letter help via Zoom click our link above to join. We host every Saturday!⬆️
